In 2003, when many hesitated to invest in Northern Sri Lanka, Tilko Jaffna City Hotel opened its doors as one of the first major hotel investments in the region. This pioneering spirit reflected a deep belief in Jaffna's potential and a commitment to the local community.
Through challenging times, we provided a safe haven for business travelers, journalists, and aid workers. Following the end of the civil conflict, we underwent a major renovation in 2009, emerging ready to welcome a new era of visitors eager to discover the treasures of the Jaffna peninsula.
